HVAC Price Increases

Buckle Up HVAC Enthusiasts Because We’re Going On An Uphill Pricing Ride!

HVAC prices are expected to rise starting from September 1st, 2021 with distributors like Carrier, Lennox, and Aaon participating. So if you aren’t already running to grab yourself a new HVAC or replacement, then we advise you to do pronto.

As we all know, COVID-19 hit many businesses hard. The HVAC industry struggled to cover the increase in demand (with everyone cozying up at home and wanting quality indoor air) along with the increase in raw material costs, labor rates, commuting costs, and transitioning to new processes. Moreover, multiple areas in the U.S. experiencing one of the hottest summers in over 127 recorded years added onto the increased demand. The HVAC industry is facing a shortage overall. Not to mention, inflationary pressures are also forcing prices to increase.

To give a bigger picture of what prices will look like, Carrier, Lennox, and Aaon have released statements regarding the price increase. Carrier have already increased prices up to 7% on North American residential, light commercial, and commercial products, and Lennox has increased prices up to 9% on all residential and commercial equipment, controls, parts, and supplies. On the other hand, Aaon will be one of the manufacturers raising their price on September 1st up to 5% on all HVAC equipment. Again, this is your sign to purchase or upgrade your HVAC system now!

At the moment, the market is benefitting from the need of HVAC systems and replacements this summer, and companies are preparing for when the busy season ends (October to March) to build up inventory while demand decreases. Additionally, residential new construction is making up the bulk of this industry’s gains.

Let’s get your ducts in a row and replace your HVAC before these price increases!
